Valio enforces stringent testing procedures for suppliers in-line with strict government policy, requiring all of its farmers to test any cows treated with antibiotics. It is this continued practice and commitment to quality that has led to Delvotest being selected as the adopted test method for its milk supply chain.
Delvotest is a highly consistent and effective testing solution which is easy to handle, with very clear color readings. Key to the product's success is its reliability, which reduces the number of tests, rate of false positives and potential risk of variable results to safeguard milk quality.
Laura Kulkas, Veterinarian, Valio stated: "We needed a reliable, robust and effective testing procedure that could adapt to our operational needs whilst ensuring safe products for our customers. After a demonstration of Delvotest's capability, we are confident that DSM, through its extensive industry experience and strong reputation, can provide this."
Mylène Caussette, global marketing manager, DSM Food Specialties, added: "The Delvotest product range offers an adaptable solution for Valio which can be used at each stage of the supply chain, ensuring alignment across the dairy portfolio. At DSM, we aim to develop successful partnerships to deliver continued success for our customers, guaranteeing product safety and quality. We feel this agreement recognizes the industry-leading capability of the Delvotest range and we look forward to working in partnership with Valio to deliver successful testing procedures."
