Stellenanzeige The coconut Collaborative is a privately owned branded business founded in 2014 by James Averdieck (Founder of Gu). We operate in the UK, Germany, Austria, France and New Zealand. We are a pioneer brand in non-dairy coconut milk yogurt and desserts and aiming to be the winning player internationally in this space. The business is growing rapidly with a projection to get to £20 million in 3 years’ time. We have a strong technical capability and own all the recipes/processing IP as well as the brand. We work with 3rd party manufacturers and have distributors/partners in France, Germany and New Zealand who sell our brand in those markets. The business is 70% chilled and 30% frozen. We now have a team of 11 employees based in Westminster, London and we now are now looking to scale up the business significantly and want to strengthen our technical team. Job Title: Technical Manager Responsible to: Managing Director (TBC) Salary: £40,000 per annum with 5% annual bonus Role: We are looking for a Technical manager that will be key to supporting our factories in France, Belgium and the UK, while supporting Head office in London. You: You are a German speaking technically qualified graduate, fluent in English (and French if possible) with at least 2 years’ experience in chilled foods. You are ambitious, resilient and have good attention to detail. You want to work for a highly entrepreneurial and fast growing business, able to achieve results under pressure. Main Function of job: Managing all aspects of product safety, quality and legality, key areas of responsibility include: • Manage and develop Coconut Collaborative quality and factory management systems • Manage technical aspects of relationships with all customers and suppliers • Carry out audits on suppliers and service providers • Lead the HACCP team for all our factoriesü • Liaise where necessary with relevant authorities e.g. Trading Standards, Environmental Health, FSA • Manage external audits and maintain accreditations (BRC Food Safety, Kosher, Haalal and customer audits) • Line Manager to Customer Care team • Technical aspects of new product development • Ensure clear and timely reporting of TCC kpis • Keep abreast of developments in food science, food processing, legislation, testing, etc • Contribute to Continuous Improvement by putting forward ideas that might improve quality, efficiency and profitability of the business • Maintain Food Safety Standards • Maintaining Health & Safety Standards • Ensuring the legality, quality and safety of all products • Approving artwork for the NPD team • Approving company’s communications and claims relating to products’ properties To apply email your CV and a covering letter to jobs@coconutco.co.uk www.coconutco.co.uk KÄSEREITECHNOLOGISCHER SONDERLEHRGANG 3. – 4.
